On Thursday, August 5th, I'm performing as part of the house band at The Wendy May Jam at The Black Duck Cafe, in Westport, from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The house band typically includes: Wendy May (guitar/vocals); Ray Simonelli (guitar/vocals); Bill Geoghegan (guitar/vocals - when he visits from Ireland); Scott Hensley (lead guitar); Derek Reeves (bass and vocals); Teddy Yakush (on saxophone); and Lance Justice (on percussion). It's a full band electric jam that is open to all musicians and singers. Come join us! The Black Duck is located at 605 Riverside Avenue.
On Saturday, August 14th: I'll be performing at Palmer Fest in Fairfield. Check back for more details regarding the full lineup for this all day event.
On Friday, August 27th: The Girlz Band; featuring Kim Manning, Linda Couturas, Pru O'Brien, Ray Simonelli, Randy Stone, Teddy Yakush, Dave Rauh, with special guests Ed Train and Pat Stone, will perform at Greenwich Commons Part, in Greenwich, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. We are participating in the towns Free Music Fridays music series where they will have a different act playing each and every Friday during the summer months. Come join us! The park is located at 1 Sound View Court off of Greenwich Avenue.
On Friday, September 10th: Kurt & Helen Acoustic will perform at The Note & Kitchen, in Bethel, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. out on the patio, or from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. indoors if it rains. This act feature Kurt & Helen Cihi on lead vocals and harmonies, Ray Simonelli on guitar, and Dave Rauh on percussion. The music includes a wonderful mix of American tunes. The Note & Kitchen is located at 227 Greenwood Avenue.
On Sunday, September 19th: Billy & The Shoemen will perform at the Rallye For Pancreatic Cancer at St. Ann's Club, in Norwalk. This is an outdoor event. There will be three other bands performing on the Norwalk Mobile Stage. The exact set times are to be determined. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will also be a classic car show, silent auctions, and raffles. St. Ann's is located at 16 Hendricks Avenue.
