May 2022:

On Saturday, May 21st, Sandie James & Ray Simonelli will perform at the Stationhouse Wine Bar & Grill, in Stratford, from7 p.m. to 10 p.m.  We will perform a very eclectic set list of your classic rock, pop, oountry, and R & B favorites.  The Stationhouse in Stratford is a big supporter of live music with acts playing there five nights a week.  They have really good food there as well!  Come check it out!   The Stationhouse is located at 2520 Main Street - right at the Stratford Metro North Railroad Station on the New York/Track 3 side.

On 
Thursday, May 26th, I'm playing as part of the house band at Wendy's Jam at 314 Beer Garden, in Norwalk, from 7 PM to 10 PM.  The house band currently includes:  Wendy May (guitar vocals), Ray Simonelli (guitar vocals); Bill Geoghegan (guitar/vocals, and when he visit from Ireland), Scott Hensley (lead guitar); Derek Reeves (bass guitar/vocals), and Lance Justis (percussion).  Come jam with the best musicians around! We hope to see you there. The Beer Garden is located at 314 Wilson Avenue.

On Saturday, May 28th, Sheila Fabrizio & Ray Simonelli will perform at Vazzy's Restaurant, in Stratford, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.  We will perform a very eclectic set list of your classic rock, pop, and R & B favorites.  They have really good food there as well!  Come join us.  Vazzy's is located at 3355 Main Street inside 3355 Shopping Plaza.

June 2022:

On Thursday, June 2nd, The Girls Band will perform at the Sherman Town Green Gazebo, in Fairfield, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  The Girls Band includes Kim Manning (lead vocals/harmonies); Linda Couturas (lead vocals/harmonies); Pru O'Brien (lead vocals/harmonies); Ray Simonelli (guitar/vocals); Randy Stone (bass guitar); Teddy Yakush (saxophone); Ed Train (keyboards), and Dave Rauh (percussion), Come join us for this fun early evening event!  The Sherman Town Green Gazebo is located at 1451 Post Road. 

On 
Saturday, June 18th, Sheila Fabrizio & Ray Simonelli will perform in an acoustic duo format at Romanacci's restaurant, in Westport, from 8 pm to 11 pm.  We will offer up a very eclectic set list that will include your favorite classic rock, pop, and R & B favorites.  For those of you that like late night dinners, they have delicious food at this venue.  Romanacci's is located at 46 Railroad Place, right across the street from the Westport Metro North Train Station on the New York/Track 3 side. Hope to see you there!  

July 2022:

On Friday, July 1st, The Girls Band will perform at the Free Music Friday's Event at Greenwich Commons Park, in Greenwich, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.  The Girls Band includes Kim Manning (lead vocals/harmonies); Linda Couturas (lead vocals/harmonies); Pru O'Brien (lead vocals/harmonies); Ray Simonelli (guitar/vocals); Randy Stone (bass guitar); Teddy Yakush (saxophone); Ed Train (keyboards), and Dave Rauh (percussion), Come join us for this fun lunch time event!  Greenwich Commons Park is located at 290 Greenwich Avenue. 
 
August 2022:

On Saturday, Auguste 6th, Wendy May & Ray Simonelli will perform at Vero Cucina Restaurant, in Middletown, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  We will perform a very eclectic set list of your classic rock, pop, country favorites.  They have really good food there as well!  Come join us.  Road trup!  Vero Cucina is located at 749 Saybrook Road.

On Friday, August 12th, Billy & The Shoemen, wth Sarah Raven, will perform as part of the Free Music Fridays summe4 concert series at Greenwich Commons Park, in Greenwich, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.  This event is weather permitting.  Greencih Comons Park is located on Greenwich Avenue.

On
 Saturday, August 13th, the Billy & The Shoemen Trio will perform at Palmerstock, in Fairfield, at a private residence.  The set time is TBD.  Attendance for this event is currently by invitation only but that is subject to change. Check back for any possible additional details. 

On
 Friday, August 26th, Kurt & Helen Acoustic; featuring Kurt & Helen Cihi on lead vocals and harmonies w/Ray Simonelli on acoustic guitar, will perform at the Mill Hill Historic Park, in Norwalk, at their annual Garden Party event which runs from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Bring your chairs and blankets and take a spot on the grass.  There is typically a food truck at this event, and also a table set up selling glasses of wine.  You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks.  NOTE:  This event is weather permitting.  The Mill Hill Historic Park is located at 2 E. Wall Street. 

December 2022:

On Saturday, December 3rd, Billy & The Shoemen will perform at the annual Building Hope Foundation gala benefit event at 6 PM.  The band will also be honored at this event with a special award for donating our time in past years to perform.  The event, in past years, took place at The Water's Edge at Giovanna's in Darien, but there's talk of a change in venue this year.  Please check back for an update on the venue.  The Building Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization associated with the Home Builder's Association (HBRA) of Fairfield. The associate benefits disadvantaged homeowners, veterans and handicapped people in Fairfield County, and provides scholarships to young people interested in pursing construction related careers.  Information will be published by the beginning of the Fall regarding how to purchase tickets.
