On Saturday, April 20th, the Billy & The Shoemen Trio, with Sarah Raven,along with special guest singers, will perform in honor of our late bandmate, and good friend, Billy Foster at Ponza Italian Kitchen from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The three piece music act includes Bill Geoghegan on guitar and vocals, Ray Simonelli on guitar and vocals, and Sarah Raven on flute. We have also extended an invitation to some of Billy's favorite profesiomal local singer friends who will come and do a few tunes each in his honor. They include AJ LaSalla, Wendy May, Christine Cook, Shelley Welch, Kurt & Helen, Paula Gallo, and Calliopi. Please come for a wonderful evening to help celebrate his life with us. Ponza is located at 690 Connecticut Avenue.
On Sunday, April 21st, Shelley Welch & Ray Simonelli perform at the Church Of The Nazarene, in Norwalk, from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The service is given by Pastor Keith Welch. It's open to all denominations. The church is located at 146 Main Street.
